Versatile Saw Horse

The saw horse shown can be constructed from 20mm pipe. Dimensions may be varied but ends of top rails should finish vert. above transverse foot line on floor.

Grind legs roughly to angle and weld to flat bar (say 50x5Ox6mm) to seat squarely on floor. Notch pipe leg tops for close fit on to top rails.

Portable Calf Creep

Erected from 4.5m panel sections; min. size 4.5x4.5m (illustrated) usually includes two fixed, two entrance panels. Entrance panels have two sliding gates, the 25mm tube rungs sliding in 25mm pipe fixed rungs; vertical end strut of these fixed pipes is 38x38x6mm angle square notched or circle cut on one leg to accept open end of pipe. Gate secured at selected opening by bolt through hole in top rung. Telescoping rectangular or square RHS are available alternative.

Panels are joined by slipping bottoms of 38mm end pipes over twin 25mm pipe coupling bracket, tops into 40mm twin pipe arrangement. Bottom coupling has larger base plate drilled with 13mm holes for 10mm tent pegs. Check that available pipes telescope where this is required.

Adjustable Work Support

A 10mm nut welded to vertical stand pipe permits gripping tube at various heights. Roller support may be substituted by fixed or angle supports. Height of stand pipe and extension should be adjusted to suit.
