EVA^™ (Extended Viewing Area)

MS^™ Magnetic Sensor

Distinction of colors
A special coating on the filter allows the welder's eyes to reach their full potential to distinguish colors.
With the active welding filters by XELUX the eye is able to discern the numbers on the display of the welding machine. At the same time the welders are protected from UV an IR rays.

TOP^™ (TIG-Optimized Photosensor)
TIG welding results in a very steady welding arc which is usually produced by a higher frequency electrical power source (inverter). The TOP^™ detection system recognizes this special welding arc and suppresses all light sources not originating from the welding arc. Thus the welder can rely on his active welding filter by XELUX even in a low amperage environment.

Solar cells

XELUX active welding filters can be inserted into any standard welding helmet or hand shield without requiring any adjustments. They are only 3.7 or 8.7 mm thick and very lightweight, thus offering another excellent advantage to the welder.

Auto-Opening-Delay
The clearing time adjusts to the duration and intensity of the welding arc. This allows the tack welder to keep working without interruption and on the other side prevents disturbing glare in high amperage welding environments.
